the argument only made sense when wrongful convictions were common due to poor quality of evidence, now we have technology that gives us a margin of error in the 1 billionth, it makes no sense to have a prolonged appeals process. most murderers should just be executed within a few years. waiting multiple decades is a waste of tax dollar, resources, and time.

also, most wrongful convictions are the work of incarceration abolitionists and other assorted mental retards on the left taking advantage of social justice activist judges and the inability of the state to preserve evidence, and relying on the absence or fallibility of witness memory years after the trial. these bullshit overturned convictions efforts can be avoided by killing these convict phaggits more quickly and by contracting the appeals process while the evidence is still fresh
