If it's small enough to still give the appearance of a downturned medial canthus especially at front + 3/4 view it doesn't add any detriment to the overall appearance much.
For instance, this is too much, giving a shorter pfl and "smaller" eye

But if it's small enough like this

then it will hardly be noticeable, however the less the better.
I'm using east asian eyes because they have the most prevalence of epicanthic folds.

Okay I have the smaller one luckily, I am not Asian but most likely have Mongolian genes since I am part Hungarian so that explains why I have it
