Being a good person is better than being evil.

Being a good person ensures that people will end up having no respect for you and make you their doormat

Being an evil person ensures that everyone will hate you and you'll have nobody to mourn your death or ever do good unto you

Being in between the 2 mogs

do good / evil persons really exist or it is their environment and experience throughout their life that molds them into either one?

Good question

I believe genuine evil people and good people exist. Pretty sure a baby can be born with deformed amygdala's and extended paralimbic system which can blunt their emotional/fear response and create what is classified as a "psychopath" just from birth

Obviously, being a psychopath doesn't entail that you will become an evil person, but a handful of psychopaths do become evil, and like I said, I believe you can be born with this due to physical deformities inside the brain

Maybe I'm wrong, I can't remember honestly

Do you think for the sake of example Richard Ramirez would have turned out the way he did if he had a loving upbringing instead of being constantly abused?

No, I don't believe so

His upbringing was one of the worst I have ever heard, and according to the people who knew him during his childhood he was just a normal child

Typically real psychopaths display antisocial behavior from very young ages, so I believe his was an adaptation to his surroundings

But even if you are born a psychopath, can’t you realize it through introspection and behave how it would be socially accepted, even if it doesn’t come naturally for you? It still seems like a choice

There is no evil and good. Don't let modern world fool into believing the rules of nature don't apply

nature is a creation of an external force anyway, what you call nature is not baseline reality but one of the innumerable emanations of the higher realities

nope you wount cuz you dont have alot of the emotions normal people do like empathy

But can’t they observe others and imitate them even if it’s not innate? Like similarly how autists mask

imagine this your colorblind and some one asks you to see the color blue its like the same thing.

Of course you can, psychopaths still understand emotions and what's considered socially acceptable, albeit they only understand these from a cognitive standpoint

If someone does something abhorrent like serial murder, it will always be their choice, you can't commit something like that on accident

In all honesty though, society wouldn't function as great without psychopaths. Most lawyers, surgeons, politicians, and other high stress positions are primarily made up of psychopaths, their lack of empathy or guilt actually flourishes if it's contained

Yeah but even if you are color blind you can with time remember which objects / things are supposed to be blue (like the sky for example), so even if you cannot perceive blue itself, you get the idea

Similarly even if psychopaths have no innate empathy, couldn’t they observe others and watch their behaviour in certain situations to get an idea what “empathy” is and then imitate it?

but people tell you its blue you dont know what blue looks like. you cant describe it or why you think it is blue just cuz other people tell you, you belive them.
