My school banned the use of personal devices and consequences escalate with each offense

I’m on my fourth offense out of five and if it happens again I’ll be sent to a disciplinary alternative school for a month, stays on transcript

(Every time I’ve been “caught” the device was legally not in use but admins sided against me)

Because of this I was given a contract to not bring personal devices for the rest of the year to avoid alternative school. My parents trust the previous incidents weren’t my fault but if it happens again I have no excuse and trust is lost

So in one class I always use my phone to cheat which has kept my grade at 100. NOBODY I know of has been caught in this class and many other students do the same

I can’t “just pay attention” this is a class I didn’t choose and it isn’t beneficial. It’s the one period I can be productive on things like trading which I make good money off of during class

Since I’m on my fourth offense I’m very tense and am deciding if it’s worth the risk to continue cheating or stop. There are roughly 5 tests left this year and this grade matters a lot for my gpa

So do I cheat or not???

Well it's your choice. Idk what you're hoping to achieve later down the line but if you're invested in schooling and college then just focus and do the work required to pass.

I mean legally we are allowed to keep our phones and all in our backpacks. And of course I always carry mine for safety. My backpack doesn’t have many pockets so I put my phone with the rest of my materials but substitutes who can’t even pronounce the word “device” think they know what they’re doing and take it up when I’m just grabbing a pencil Then make shit up in front of the admins

And yeah I could have just stopped bringing my phone after 2nd-3rd time but they give us the option to bring it properly because they understand safety concerns too

my teachers aren't that wise they think that their anti-cheating methods are good at my school but all i have to do is remember questions on the test go into a separate room like the bathroom, ai that shit, write it on another sheet of paper, make some excuse to have to be absent for the class or something like that, return with the sheet the next day or later that day, sometimes teachers make sure we don't bring in paper from outside so what I'll do is come in the class at passing period or lunch and hide it somewhere in the room near my desk where I can grab it when I passed the doorway.

idk i dropped out and went to community college, i could transfer to a 4 year uc school near me and they would have no records from high school but if you don't do that method then im not sure

We have huge privacy folders and even though it’s meant for students to not cheat the teacher can’t see us either lol unless he’s to the side or behind you

Since mine are digital I send photos to ai in the class itself or I use the “restroom” to ai if it’s a longer one and copy, hide phone in sleeve if he comes in

Even easier on reassessment days where I can score up to 90%, he’s much more laid back

But I’m the kind of iqlet who would fuck up if I was too nervous

onetime I did some risky ass shit in 9th grade, the teacher was suppose to seize all of our electronics and my friend let me know before hand so I like left my apple watch in the fucking toilet paper box thing connected to the wall, it was only for one period so it was a low chance of someone finding it since only the janitors open it but I kind fucked it up because i sit in the front so i was just gonna write some shit and go to the restroom but she was watching my ass so i just tried to memorize questions and forgot that shit by the time i was in the bathroom so it was a waste woulda been cool tho, I fucking failed that test.

If you can have air pods what I used to do was just have an audio playing the answers to the test this of course only works if the test is something where you have set answers that you just have to study so it only worked in Spanish.

You could use the old reliable method, buy one of those fake amazon phones that look hella real and give that one to the teachers to fool them, I did this to my mom and it worked. They are like 15 usd.

Our system is really just keeping it in our backpacks and not using them we don’t give them up so I just have to not get caught nothing else
