Actually you could die within a matter of weeks for example if this is a metastasis and the cancer originating from another organ. On the other hand if it is the only cancer having it removed may take 10 minutes and save your ass from dying in 2 or 3 years.

The thing with cancer is that the reproduction of cells goes exponentially. So even a perfectly healthy young person may die within a matter of months if the cancer is aggressive enough.

Just wait for a week or two. If it is still there and not getting better go see a doctor.
