Do i have to justify why i need to take 2 weeks off to my employer?

Worst case scenario i'll just quit bcuz i don't need the job but preferably i'd prefer keeping it after the surgery is done. Do i have to tell my boss why or can i just say thats none of your business/prefer not to say? Would be awkvard lying about a relative having a funeral and then coming back w a scar on my forehead jfl.

So i need to give a general reason? Can they tell me no you can't take 2 weeks off (in Sweden we get 25 days vacation per year)

usually they will want to know why you're taking it off, you could even say you're going on holiday or something
