Do I still absorb protein if I’m shitting/gas like hell?

Been upping my protein intake and the bulk of it is thru powder/shakes. I’ve become really gassy and shit liquid a lot and I’m wondering if I’m just wasting it or am I still receiving the protein

I would bro but My mom dont trust me cooking lmfao only when my dads around he lets me cook whatever meat but hes always working and im always at school

Is it jew bro? My parents always have powder and shakes from costco laying around so thats what I drink, but theyre mad expensive on costco. I dont want them to be wasting their money :confused:
 
What are u mixing the powder with? Water?

There is your problem, you're probably lactose intolerant. I had the same issue as you years ago and developed IBD.

Yeah probably. Im asian and my mom is LI too. Do u know if i would still be digesting the protein at least tho?

Might not be absorbed as well as it should be if you're having that many digestive problems. Try taking the shakes with a lactase pill to see if it helps and if so then you know the problem is the dairy and whey if that's the form of protein you're taking. I'd switch to isolate if you do find that to be the problem.

Drink raw milk, that's the only natural solution to LI. You're only ever lactose intolerant due to the active enzymes in milk i.e. Raw milk, being desttoyed during pasteurisation.

Whey is cope like all bb supplements. The only supplement that isn't cope is creatine, and if you already eat meat it's not really necessary because naturally occurring creatine has a much better bioavailability than store-bought ones.
