Do i take off my rubbers? I have braces im 17

a few days ago i got class 2 rubbers for my face and from what i read the internet says it recesses my maxilla, i have an extreme overbite (about 7-8mm) and i asked the doctor and he told me he it moves my lower jaw upfront and doesnt recess my maxilla so what do you guys think i should do?

That doctor is experienced in making your teeth straight and allign and he doesnt care wether he makes your face sunken or recess your maxilla in order to get that, i have a weak and underdeveloped chin and he wants to recess my maxilla which is normal in order to make it allign with my already weak mandible so that i look like a low iq beta disabled fuck all my life
