Do Invisalign and braces always negatively effect facial structure

Are all forms of orthodontics retractive or is it only retractive when they use elastics and tooth extractions. Also if it is is Invisalign less of looksmin or is it functionally the same. Im going to airway ortho who is going yo fix my bite as my lower jaw grew and i am now lacking over-jet between my upper and lower jaw could fixing this cause any recession.

For context i had braces from 14-16 and wore my retainers but my lower (mandible) had a growth spurt and is causing a posterior open bite the ortho is going to adjust my bottom and top to create a natural overjet since currently i do not have one could this negatively effect my facial structure.
