Do my Grades in Highschool Really matter?

I used to have a 4.00 (unweighted) taking all the hardest classesand now they are starting to slip but like realistically do these grades matter? do I care if i cant go to Ivy or a fancy college? that shit is gonna bankrupt me anyway.

doesn’t matter for jobs, if you get experience in a field no one rlly cares about your degree after a few years.

plus if you get a bachelors you can always do a masters in the future at a top university and no one will care about your bachelors

There is 0 benefit for u JFL, especially if you want to go to med school. Med schools dgaf ab your undergrad, you just need good research experience and solid MCAT/essays. Have fun in HS, and cherish your prime years. That being said, I really advise you not to waste your prime years doing something like this. Regardless of your specialization, advancements in AI and robotics will render 90% of doctors useless. If we look at the pace AI is improving (I.e. harmonic AI, claude opus, 3.1 pro) by the time you finish ur residency 16 years from now, AGI/singularity will probably have been reached and you won’t be able to get a job. You'll be 34 then btw. Depending on your genetics, may be balding, and on your first job

Yes some people will always prefer face-to-face interactions with doctors, but there will be a significant downsizing of the industry. If you've had a lot of experience with doctors, you'd know that 95% of them are incompetent and low iq anyway and deserve to lose their jobs.

also going to an ivy for a prospective med student might be a net negative if u consider the fact classes will be more difficult, and the opportunities there will be more competitive. med schools prioritize college gpa, so it might serve u better to go to ur state school where u can easily get A's in the hardest classes as opposed to a school where youll have to fight tooth and nail for an A- and for all the internships jfl

Fahhhh like employers look at standardized tests or all tests? Also my grades arent horrible it just went from like all As to a B and an A- idk i just stopped studying but im in all the advanced classes offered to me and i just want to know if going to a top college is worth

My sister made it to princeton taking less academic classes without a 4.00 becuase she was a runner, i am also runner at pace to run anywahere i want besides like duke or stanford but i might quit that too because i run distance and it eats my testosterone

I’m not sure about the jobs looking at test scores. Just make sure you are studying and paying attention in class
