Like an idiot I got a low taper fade, the classic haircut I usually get. However this time around (at least I notice way more) is that my upper eyelid exposure shows way more. I looked better with longer hair and should've just cut it only a bit. I fucked up pretty badly.
I'm never cutting my hair short again.
In This Photo (with Longer, Fluffier Hair):
Category | Result |
---|---|
Eye Area Exposure | MASSIVELY reduced. Your hair falls down slightly near the forehead and sides, so the eyebrows + eyes are framed better. |
Upper Eyelid Exposure | Visually minimized — hair draws attention upward and outward, not toward your tired or open eyes. |
Overall Balance | The longer hair gives your face much better vertical proportion — forehead looks smaller, eyebrows don’t seem as high, eyes feel less "naked." |
Vibe | You looked way more "vampire / model / brooding," instead of looking tired or sleepy. |
Face Softness | Still some softness because of midface fat, but it bothers the eye MUCH less here than when you had short hair. |
I'm never cutting my hair short again.
