over for powerliftcels like me who fell for the jason blaha/starting strength "enough pressing/pulling volume will grow your arms" meme. i still have lagging arms (specifically biceps) after a couple years training and thats even after specialising in chin ups. just do large volumes of curls at the end of ur session ngl. no reason not to.

if you dont have a promising career as a powerlifter/strongman (and you arent sure you will be able to live off it in your country) theres literally no point in training for some super-human strength, you will just become a fat bloated piece of shit, all that just have a bench press of 100kg+

I train my biceps quite frequently tbh, need to put more emphasis on my triceps.

i think being strong is important but u have to be overall strong. not just big 3. also yes there is a trade off i would rather only squat 350lbs than 500+ if it meant i had to weigh 220lbs of fat.

literally noone cares about how much you life outside of an online boards and an incredibly small about of people irl (which are all fat powerlifters themselves)

"lifting for strength" is a COPE - its done only by people who look like shit anyway (bad frame, muscle insetions, height or face)

When you don't train for strength and only aesthetics you're only bark and no bite. You'd get your ass kicked by the skinny looking guy who happens to bench 320 in a bar fight and you'd embarrass yourself.

I wouldnt call powerlifting a cope, more like a tool to ruin your body faster, powerlifting is more about the strength of your joints/tendons

thats why I dont like powerlifting, look at this dude, he is pushing so much weight and he barely looks like he lifts

For me my biceps triceps are big & bloated, meanwhile my chest is small. Over for fapcels
 
Toothpicks arms feel so bad

But probably better than fatceps
