I know this seems like common sense but for a lot of people it’s not.
Nicotine and alcohol are bolth vasoconstrictors which means they bolth significantly decrease blood flow. Alcohol is technically a vasodilator in small doses but eaven in small doses it will still negatively affect protein muscle synthesis and the more you drink the more potent of vasoconstrictor it becomes. After you workout the last thing you want to do is vape or use nicotine the rest of the day. If you do your muscles won’t be able to properly recover or properly go through protein muscle synthesis. For those that don’t know protein muscle synthesis is how you build muscle.
If your a complete adict though and you need nicotine throughout the day just workout at the end of the day and just don’t use nicotine for the rest of the day after you workout.
Long story short using nocotine and alcohol after working out will kill your gains and recovery.
