What are the anatomical differences between the hollow cheeks on the left and the ones on the right? One has a V shape hollow cheek look with a fuller midface and the other has a more "sunken face" look.

either way its hollow cheeks so its aesthetic, but theres really no types of them,

alain delon in some shots have the "shallow canine fossa" hollow cheeks

I used to think the same, but after looking at skulls I saw a bump on frontal zygos.
Wheather they cause different types of hollow cheeks doesn't matter. I just want to know if it's dimorphic or not

it's not caused by bone.

the 'reverse' taper is the edge of the masseter muscle.

The hollow part /taper bellow the zygos is caused by maserters ,but What about the part above

if you're looking at your jaw from a 3/4th view there should be two lines forming a triangle, one line at the masseter, one line next to the mouth, they connect sharply near the eye.

Its not just lighting theres really a difference.

The cheeks appear more "sunken" in people who have deep canine fossa, but they also have to diet down to quite low levels of bodyfat to have them show. Whereas people with shallow hollows just have to be <15% bf or like 12% bf. Shallow mogs in this aspect.

People with exceptional bonestructure and shallow hollows may look like they have deep canine fossa but for them its mainly just lightning and being at extremely low bodyfat levels.

But to answer your question if women have it? I don't really know I've seen some women have shallow hollows but never deep ones. It would look terrible. Women don't look good with hollowness in their face.

I have both types though? When i smoke it looks like /\ and inhale and normally it s V

Overall shallow 100% mogs. You don't have to be super lean all the time and its a sign of good bonestructure in men.
