but otherwise it's mostly cope, if you don't look good in pics you probably don't look good in real life

Most people do. I see a lot of decent looking people irl who look way worse in photos. To look good in pics you need very low bf, nice bones, and lighting fraud.

Also most people display a certain degree of asymmetry which looks way worse in pics than in motion. Morph is a must do if you want to post gl pics, even for models.

yes because with 2d pictures, lots of information used to determine attractiveness is lost.

In 3d and in motion, bone structure can be judged with much higher accuracy than in a flat image.
Also, in pictures people can fraud skull if they're skullcels while in real life the skullmogging is brutal af ngl.

Partly because sometimes I see photos of myself when I was snapped unawares, and I look so repulsive that I instantly start googling surgeons etc lol, but then i've gotten laid a little in my time with a few fairly hot girls, so maybe the camera is fukking me over somehow lol

It depends on the camera that you are using. I look better on photos taken with my DSLR camera than on photos taken with my shitty cellphone camera. It also depends on the pose that you are doing, for me, making a serious pose is easier than smiling because it's easy to do without looking like I forced my pose just for the picture. Wearing better clothes also helps for pictures. As a skinny guy, I like to wear a nice coat to hide my skinny body, layering is the trick to appearing less skinny on pictures.

i think so. There’s a lot of things that make someone more attractive irl than in photos. Motion, lighting, angles, frame, behavior, etc. but then again the same can be said for people who look better in pics than irl, because ppl can angle and lighting fraud hard. I think it varies depending on the person. But tbh I think I look far worse in pics than irl. Pretty much every tinder date I’ve had said that I looked hotter irl than in my pics, but they also could just be saying that just to say it.
