I'm going to guess "being ugly" also implies being short or small-dick and etc

#1 abusive and controlling parents (what I've had), nukes your social development, directly influences the presence and intensifies pre-existing mental disorders, and is hell on earth for the first 18 years of your life

#2 being an abused dog (not worse but a close second), can happen even if you're good-looking, you could have grown up uhh fat or neurodivergent, or both
