Why do some people's wisdom teeth come through as early as 17 yo and for others like me, they still haven't at 23 years of age?

That proves the theory that jaw size is based on genetics.
Bro i think evertyhing is genetic. I got some friends that never blushing teeth but still white and strong. I think height, bone structure is genetic.

Look at your dads teen years bro. If its genetic subhumanity, dont be upset. We can not change our race etc. We dont have a control on some shits

Hgh and T influence Jaw size/development

My dad mogs me :feelswah::feelswah::feelswah::feelswah::feelswah:.

Even now in his 50s, he still has a more visible jawline than me and I'm 18. Even more brutal that he's around 20-23% bf and I'm around 14-15% bf :feelswah::feelswah::feelswah::feelswah:

I brutally lost the genetic lottery. Never even began.

it wont stunt growth but it will literally decay your bone mass, extracting teeth should be illegal

Craniofacial growth was investigated in boys treated with low-dose testosterone for delayed puberty (> 14 years old; testicular volume < 4 ml; n = 7) and compared with controls (12-14 years; n = 37). Cephalometric radiographs, statural height and pubertal stage were recorded at the start of the study and after 1 year. Craniofacial growth was assessed by nine linear measurements. At the beginning of the study, statural height, mandibular ramus length, upper anterior face height, and total cranial base length were significantly shorter in the delayed puberty boys than in the controls. After 1 year, the growth rate of the statural height, total mandibular length, ramus length, and upper and total anterior face height was significantly higher in the treated boys than in the untreated height-matched controls (n = 7). The craniofacial measurements were similar in the treated boys as compared with the controls. These results show that statural height and craniofacial dimensions are low in boys with delayed puberty. Low doses of testosterone accelerate statural and craniofacial growth, particularly in the delayed components, thus leading towards a normalization of facial dimensions.

how it will decay if it not fully grown?

I think this wisdom teeth thing is blown out of portion. Because, all my sister's had their widsom teeth extracted and still have nice forward growth.

What did they do? Never slouch over. Always stood up straight.

is there any legitimate evidence, even if it's anecdotal w/ pictures, that shows extractions affecting bones?

None at all

I've always had a strong jaw and it looks the same pre and post surgery (had all 4 removed). Only that affects jawline (and cheekbone visibility) is how lean I am.

I always slouched and have perfect teeth alignment without braces

Awesome! How was your diet?
Pretty normal for someone living in the west. One thing I will say is I have always kept my tongue on the roof of my mouth in a suction hold. Tongue posture is the most important, but proper body posture helps. Although I never had any malocclusion, I probably could’ve gotten more forward growth with better body posture

Did proper tongue posture come normal to you?

Theory is if you can chew with your Wisdom teeth and you take them out then it would be a lookmin, if you can’t because your jaw is too narrow, it won’t do anything to your appearance. But idk bro

“Jawbone is preserved through the pressure and stimulus of chewing. When that is removed through tooth loss, the bone “resorbs” (reabsorbs) into the body. In the first year after tooth extraction 25% of bone is lost, and this bone loss continues on.”

i mean if i have missing teeth chewing will reverse the damage?

No you need teeth to chew on
why? i mean theres no tooth pocket in the position of my wisdom teeth due to surgery so theres no room for implant

late puberty is what fucked me, it started when i was 14 1/2
RAAGEE

do you want more detail or what? it is comonly know that jaw forward growth stops at age 12, so if puberty does not start early you may end up with recceced jaw
mewing losts effectivnes after age 12, so if your puberty starts at that age you have more chance to develop a good jaw

same here, the thing is our maxxilas look more forward in contrast with chin, i think if i had normal jaw, my maxxila would not look to forward

I told u son. If u have more teeth to chew on u will keep the bone. If u extract teeth u lose bone

I had a stroke trying to read op

It depends on the size and numbers of your wisdom teeth
And where they are located

If you have enough space by all means don't extract them, they can improve your face depending on those actors

Mongoloid genes

Most mongoloids have evolved to not grow wisdom teeth. My blood family and I don’t have it. Many other asian people I know never had it either.
