The universe is enormous. The Earth, with all of its vivid life, is simply a speck in a sea of billions. Amino acids, which are essential for life, have been discovered in meteors. This implies that life is universal in some way. There are billions of specks out there that have been there for longer than the Earth (4.6 billion years).

We evolved 'intelligence' in around 200,000 years, therefore it's not impossible that something similar has happened elsewhere.

To me, it seems like a statistical inevitability that extraterrestrial life does exist but do you?

absolutely. will we ever find out? very unlikely imo the universe is just too vast and exploring interstellar space is unfeasible practically speaking given the little amount of energy we have at our disposal

Yes but interstellar travel is impossible and interstellar communication exceptionally difficult

Not from space. Interdimensionally, or from unexplored parts of the world that we may not even consider to be Earth, yes.

Yes but no advanced civilization in the milky way galaxy sadly

Replicating seeder ships
"Yet another variant on the idea of the self-replicating starship is that of the seeder ship. Such starships might store the genetic patterns of lifeforms from their home world, perhaps even of the species which created it. Upon finding a habitable exoplanet, or even one that might be terraformed, it would try to replicate such lifeforms – either from stored embryos or from stored information using molecular nanotechnology to build zygotes with varying genetic information from local raw materials.[14]

Such ships might be terraforming vessels, preparing colony worlds for later colonization by other vessels, or – should they be programmed to recreate, raise, and educate individuals of the species that created it – self-replicating colonizers themselves. Seeder ships would be a suitable alternative to generation ships as a way to colonize worlds too distant to travel to in one lifetime."

Or you could go the generation ship route

Yeah I think it does. I think it’s incomprehensible to try to imagine what they would look like though. Almost all sci-fi depicts them looking similar in some way to humans, but Idk.

No. it's true the whole world is huge though and logically thinking it makes sense or likely to think there is something else.

but a lot of things have to align up to allow life, like to be a chad your genetics have to align up a very specific way and it's dumb luck...

if there does exist something more advanced than earth, I am surprised that we haven't been enslaved yet.

it makes you wonder why the entire "galaxy" is so large to just be so empty. It's one of those things that my brain cannot fully process and I can't make sense of it.

I do 100% but I like to imagine they probably won't be like grey aliens from movies that barely resemble humanoids and more like monkeys like us humans that evolved in different ways with different histories.

I am aware

while theoretically possible I don't see these ideas ever being successfully implemented. a ship/machine relying on self-maintenance for millions of years through deep space will inevitably get fucked at some point

If you look into exoplanets and how universes work, I find it bizarre to NOT believe in aliens. Even if you believe in god, you can still believe in aliens. They don't always contradict eachother...

No, aliens do not exist. It's the Fermi Paradox at work which is more proof of God imo.

No. We would have come into contact with them by now if they did exist.

Maybe. But so far there have been no signs despite being able to detect and largely understand things being millions of light years away. What astronomers see, is the radiation from planets and structures, usually light. That light was travelling millions of years to reach the earth. For comparison, it takes light about 10 milli seconds to travel from los angeles to new york. So even if we find another life form. We will only be able to tell that they lived more than several millions of years ago

So God it's a extra dimension being who created all life the universe it's laws

i believe, but believe is not reality
reality is we dint have any proof yet, just some mathematical theory
99.99% chance we will never get the answer within our lifetime

Idk what God is but yes, he created all life, the universe, and its laws.

Only care about alien gf

Idk what God is but yes, he created all life, the universe, and its lawss
So it's an extra terrestrial entity beyond the confines of space and time
Idk man sounds a bit like a alien to me

You can't be serious right now. Your IQ must be in the negatives if you are.

No it's your IQ that's in the gutter you believe in this thing called God and yet you don't want to define it

Aliens don't exist outside of space and time you retard. That's not what an alien is lmfao.

Nobody can define God. He exists outside of space and time so there's no way to know what or who he is. Only thing to base off of is the Bible.

Yes. for the first time ever congress has approved ASTRO. ASTRO will actively look at all ufo activity and demand the pentagon to come clean

Fuuck the launch of the James Webb telescope is gonna be so lit

I think that the Universe is infinte in age and size. Considering this, there is most likely extraterrestrial life either many years ago (>100 billion years ago) or outside of the observable universe.

Life forming seems very unlikely due to the nature of biological molecules.
