It’s that internal ick where you start disassociating from something you used to like because now it reminds you of them. Like bro could just be chewing gum wrong while talking about something you enjoy and suddenly the whole hobby feels contaminated





It’s honestly a self-image thing too. You subconsciously tie your interests to your identity, so when you see someone embodying it in a way that feels cringe, your brain’s like “nooo I’m not like that ” and tries to distance itself.





Happens all the time with stuff like anime, gaming, or even the gym — like one loud weirdo can ruin the vibe.

I only played p3 and plan to play the first two. I only liked the series for the music until I got a Emulator to play them. I will never touch P4 or 5 due to the fans.

i used to be alot into nirvana and then when i met my gf we were talking about our interests and shit and she likes it too, but the way SHE listens to it was different from the way i did so i got grossed out and i almost never listen to them anymore because it reminds me of how she listens to it and i get the ick and makes me wanna break up
