depending on the doc. And depending of my issue.
I'm pretty tired of my left eye slight ptosis that gives me an eye more open than the other when i'm tired.
So i make sure to don't care to talk about it to docs. Eventually i just get bluepill answers anyway "you'r gl, don't worry, it's not noticeable, you have cute almond eyes blabla". so i'm accustomed.

But talking about nose tip for example is purely aesthetics, and i'm a bit more shy.

a cosmetic surgeon?
I made the mistake to talk about my looks issue to my "general" doctor, and to my psychiatrist.
Just to get told "muh body dysmorphia, you'r gl blabla". now i just say "yes you'r right".
And most eye surgeons told me what i want is not achievable and not needed. So it's either i'm psl autism maxxed or they bluepill me.
I'll still continue on my road to see if there is somebody that can do fix my issue, because i see it.

Dude I fixed my ptosis in my left eye once I quit this game that I used to stare at 24/7. I also practiced opening my eyes as wide as possible and it worked.

yes most said it's not needed. And the one who told me he can't said that it has more cons than pros to suceed, and that he doesn't know anyone who can do it with success. But i also showed him a morph that i considered achievable. Seems like eye job is a clown job, and very hard to touch.

Appointments can be awkward depending on the surgeon.

Sometimes they won't explain why they can/can't do something, or brush it off without a second thought. It can be awkward to keep pressing them but you have to remember that it's your fucking face that is in question.

One irrational concern I've had is that I'll piss a surgeon off in the future and he'll intentionally fuck my face up by injecting stuff into a blood vessel or smth

muh lawsuit
no lawsuit for your face

indeed tbh. I'm usually really shy to ask question about anything on anything when i don't know the individual, but once you know the results and the reputation of the plastic surgeon, ask him until you have 0 doubts, cuz well you paid for the consultation plus it's your damn face.

Looking at my baby photos no, but I saw it develop over the years the more I spent time on electronics, it got worse when COVID hit but then I did what I mentioned and it worked. Not sure it works for your case but trying never hurts

usually when a surgeon seems cranky or unable/ unwilling to listen I'd take it as a bad sign. Got this vibe from Dr. Z, shithead tbh. Heard the same about Joel Defranq.

what do you plan on getting done? i feel like the more rational you are when explaining your situation the more willing they are to listen and are understanding.

if you are good looking go in and say you want mild enhancements, if you're ugly point out your flaws and then what you'd like him to change

i need my lower eyelid lifted, canthopexy, canthoplasty whatever. the problem outside of the usa, uk (dr. taban and a few other in the usa, dr. ezra in the uk) literally no male is getting this especially in my country. every other person in my country who wants that is either a transgender or a 18 year old girl who wants the "fox eyes" of bella hadid. for some reasons (heterosexual) men getting surgery is unheard of in my country and gets judged (except maybe hairtransplant). im a fuckin trooper in my country, a fighter for equality and freedom. the first heterosexual male who aks doctors to perfom this. im comparable to rosa parks

what's CW? CW rotation?

Also yeah ZSO seems like a PSL meme, never seen much about it.

chin wing

didn't get it in the end bc he couldn't answer my questions on predictablity & gonial angle. Got a different variation w a different surgeon.

ZSO isn't a COMPLETE meme but its just a much worse mlf3. Cheaper, but FAR worse aesthetic result & only marginally better recovery. Same scarring.

Just don't play computer games and open your eyes as wide as possible to fix ptosis theory. You have theory about neck posture being cause of balding, now this shit. Go to mental hospital psycho XD

I remember reading from some user that chin wing results in a rounder mandible, because the gonions don't flare.

There are three types of gonions, outward, inward (brutal subhumanity), and one where it's along the same plane as the ramus (forgot the name, neither inward or outward basically) I thought this was BS until I saw a paper that mentioned that these three types did indeed exist

why not an osteotomy? like bsso + genio

when I got my first appointment with the surgeon for forehead reduction, he told me my forehead wasnt that big, I just told him
"Yes its just for optimal aesthetic"
Then he was like "ok give me my money I'll give you your optimal aesthetic"

i think its the way my parents raised me. vanity was condemned and considered unmanly/ not masculine.

i feel like i have to justify for my decision to want to look less subhuman

fuck this

was never a candidate for bsso because the placement of my jaws is good. Just wanted a wider palate & more anterior projection for chin.

if you need more chin projection, then how can your jaws be fine?

Either you have naturally large lips and proclined incisors (in which case trying to get more chin projection looks uncanny and makes it look like your mandible is too long, or you are overestimating how much chin projection you should have with large lips (Barrett's chin projection ideal if you have fish lips)

I felt I was lucky enough to get away with a visor osteomy instead of something much more invasive ie bimax. Whilst this doesn't get to the 'root' of the problem, I didn't want to risk looking worse. I have moderately hollow cheeks & generally good lower third. Didn't want to upset the balance.

Back to the problem, I had lower lip incompetence & a (in my eyes) deepish mentolabial fold.

Don't regret my decision ngl, saved a lot of money & time this way. Results are subtle but noticeable, especially in certain lighting.
