Like our ancestors were fish that crawled out of the ocean and shit?

It’s pretty hard for me to believe my great grandpa was a fish.

No but humans can evolve and devolve into higher/lower forms of themselves not different species

So... that's not how it happened.

If you read up on evolution it will make more sense. There are well developed and plausible theories on every step of evolution, from the formation of nucleotides pre-abiogensis to how legs and eyeballs evolved.

not jumping species , I don't believe that.

You don't believe it because you haven't read enough about how it occurs.

A species is just a group of similiare animals that can successfully breed with each other. Many small changes to that group over time, result in it being very different.

Small changes to some of that group successfully over time, can accumulate to being enough that this new group can no longer successfully breed with the old group, now being defined as a different species.

The evidence for evolution is overwhelming, it's not debated at all as to whether it's true. It literally has more proof than gravity. It's only within circles of dangerously deluded religious idiots that don't know how it works that it's doubted.

To many fossil gaps to support this theory.

Theory of evolution is similar to theory of a religion. Evidence that points to both sides but no clear answer.

I know the theory of evolution

Provide proof that proves evolution is as real as gravity, you can theorize but theory doesn't mean that's the truth. At this state its a an unknown.

No, you don't, if you knew it you would've done research and engaged with the actual science on it to find out that it's one of the most solid and undeniable scientific facts, literally no one questions it in the scientific community. Zero. You can check with any external source you want. Literally just google the evidence, i won't waste time with an idiot that doesn't want to accept it.

Fossils are rare because they require rare environmental conditions. We still have a number of intermediary fossils between modern species. Here are a few examples.

Tiktaalik is an intermediate between fish and amphibians.

Ambulocetus is a transitionary form between fully aquatic whales and early land-dwelling mammals.

Australopithecus afarensis Early hominid between chimps and humans.

Seymouria transition species between amphibians and amniotes (reptiles, birds, and mammals), showing both sets of characteristics.

Therapsids transition species between mammals and reptiles

Theory of evolution is similar to theory of a religion. Evidence that points to both sides but no clear answer.

You can look into evolution if you want, but it's conclusively proved.

We know how religions evolved as well. Starting from animism, evolving to polytheism, and eventually to modern day mono-theistic religions.

There's mountains and mountains of evidence on all of this, that you can look into if it interests you but we as a species have a detailed understanding of evolution as well as the evolution of religious beliefs and how they effect the brain.

The questions that remain are questions like, are we living in a simulation and the nature of consciousness. Though I personally have solved the consciousness question, but my explanations of that seem to fly over people's heads here. Main stream science will get there with the help of Ai... eventually.

Your social skills are under-developed because you haven't had much real world practice with them.

This is likely do to you having poor looks.

So your behavior is your ego in critical survival mode, trying to come up with short memes it finds funny, that makes it feel proud of itself.

Like I can almost predict your responses, but not perfectly as I'm not as well versed in zoomer brain rot memes.

yawn

lmao source for that claim
Your brain is seeking novelty (my response) with the least possible effort.

You don't really care for a source, otherwise you would have done a search for it.

And my brain is kind-a doing the same to see what your response is. Your personality could be summed up as "troll" but still not perfectly predictable.

I know if my post goes on for too long I'll get a certain category of responses such as didn't read abbreviated as I doubt your capable of reading more than a few sentences before glazing off. So I'm sort of prodding you for that response or another fat atheist meme as similar nature to what you've already posted.

But on the subject of evolution, it's not surprising most people don't believe it, because it requires more cognitive bandwidth to understand or at least time and energy, than most people have.

Bruh I never mentioned religion, I’m just asking if everyone believes in the theory of evolution, aka we came from fish.

The first land animal was literally a fish that crawled out of water according to scientists. Every land animal evolved from this fish, including us.

evolution is real... we evolved from ape/ monkey type animals

Evolution is real. However, what they don't tell you is that there was some extraterrestial intervention that sped up the process considerably.

I think we were some different type of organism cause fish one sounds way too unrealistic

No my brother that is some alien bs, we are not pokemons, digimons. I think God create all life in 7 days or some shit like that

You had said "great grandfather". It was more generations than that. Your great grandfather was likely human.

But the fins to hand transition is fascinating.

2560px-Fins_to_hands.png

If we selectively bred humans we could go back to fins as well. We'd need to just keep breeding those that are closer to having fins.

4z1wa3zjm9p21

We could start by finding and breeding people with less fingers. Then only breed those of them with the smallest fingers, or even less fingers.

We could shortcut the process and insert fin DNA into human embro's and get finned humans as well.

Scientists don't do much with humans because of ethics, though we have gene edited cows. We've also done things like insert puffer fish DNA into tomato's so they stay warmer and last longer in the winter. But there tends to be public outcry with these experiments, so funding gets cut after initial successes. Same with mixing humans and chimps.

They didn't evolve as much as us.
