If so, do you feel like 60hz monitors look too "choppy"? I want to use my current 60hz one as a secondary screen tbh

Even for general web browsing? What about your phone and shit?
I don't want to get spoiled and have to buy 2 144hz ones. That would be like 1k.

Yeah I'm using an ultrawide currently. It's a dell u3417w I got for $400. It doesn't have any adaptive sync though.

So yeah I'm planning to do the same thing as you. Does the ultrawide feel like, hard to use after getting use to the 144hz?

A little bit tbh, but I got used to it quickly. If you are gaming tho, it sucks in comparison.
My 144hz is just used as a spotify screen

I told you not to get the laptop. YOU should return it asap srs.
My older laptop that had an i7 slayed hard. Just fucked it up with overclocking or something unknown and they couldn't repair it so gave me back the money I payed for it.

144hz 27 inch 1440p gsync

Honestly with the ryzen 3600 that I got the 1 percent lows are so high and gsync works so well that I can't even really tell that much if something is running at 45 fps or 60 fps or even 70 fps it all just feels so smooth regardless. Of course higher frames feel smoother but to me it's not necessary.
I think I can't go back to a non gsync display
