Steve Backshall went there for his show Deadly 60 tracking man-eating tigers and he called it the most dangerous and extreme place he has ever visited abd came back after just spending a few days there. Bear Grylls famously avoided going to the sunderbans despite fan demand stating that it would be too dangerous to take the camera crew there.

1000 lbs man-eating tigers that actively hunt humans, Giant saltwater crocodiles that ambush people dragging them into the water. King cobras, Russell's vipers, and kraits, some of the deadliest snakes in the world in the mangroves. Swampy terrain full of sinking mud and thick forests with no human settlements for hundreds of miles. No cell connectivity. Some of the most remote areas in the world. If you get lost or something happens to you. It is impossible to find you

Apparently they have guided tours there now, the DariΓ©n Gap is worse. But no I wouldn’t fuck with it, not with those snakes, it’s shocking how bad South Asia’s snakes are. They kill at least 10,000x more people there than the snakes in Australia or the Southwest US do.

I would love to see and photograph a wild tiger someday but Siberia or Kamchatka in Russia is probably better for that. If I could go anywhere extreme it would honestly be Yemen, beautiful and unique architecture and a much milder climate.

The everglades near me is quite similar but I doubt its as dangerous, we have literal Pythons and Crocodiles that are huge. I thought the amazon was the most dangerous place ngl

Germany just has small brown bears and little red deers. Dont you want to see the majestic tiger and the mighty Indian gaur in the wild?

I mean you can kind of explore it if you don't go beyond the warning signs but still a lot people die when they go to collect the honey (heard it's pretty different from other honeys and smell like the flowers which only grow there)

I wouldn't say they "actively hunt humans". But if you're there, they're not gonna turn down a free meal
