Do you kinda avoid eye contact so that people won't notice your flaws?

I do that subconsciously. I can't stare at people for too long because deep down I'm afraid they will notice my flaws. I think that's bad because it makes me look insecure.

I'm the opposite, I hold eye contact for too long, don't know what that makes ppl think but everyone always fails to maintain eye contact with me lmaooo tbh feels kinda good to maintain eye contact, makes me feel dominant.
