Have been training for 1.5 years, but during this time i rarely did any curls and pushdowns because it always felt unnecessary. I have tried DB Curls last upper body day and i achieved 17,5kg for 6 reps, which is quite good ig. My question is do i really need to train arms directly if i want to achieve a lean slim beach body with abs?

1 exercise for each muscle would be enough

not if you just want a lean slim body with abs. but you should.

arms are very important because big arms are a sign that someone is strong and works out. it doesn't take much effort. just do a few ez curls and machine curls at the end of your workout. in a few months you will see a big difference.

strong biceps will also help you with other lifts. when i was a little child i used to do only bicep curls and pushups at home for years and once i first entered the gym at 16 i was already able to do 60kg bench press and 20 pullups and i was only 55kg. my top 1% biceps and forearms makes me stand out, even though i'm lean and not that big with a t-shirt my arms tell others i'm strong and go to the gym.
