it never hurts to remember that there are NO FRIENDS, only people with the same interests aligned at the same moment

and no matter what family you have, eventually we all come to the conclusion that we are alone and that is how we are going to leave this world

we should be more careful who we call friend, because it is REALLY STRANGE to have a real friend, much more rare than finding the woman of your dreams (which doesn't exist btw)

if i had to count on my fingers the real friends i have i would be left with fingers on both hands

Are you sure your close friends are really real? I have some close friends and a best friend and I can talk to them about anything not even shit I like and they can talk about their own interests and it’ll never seem boring? Even if we die alone I feel like there’s nothing wrong with that it’s just being human, it shouldn’t stop you from forming connections with others. But it’s true how many people are fake out of boredom or for the just of it, but it’s easy spot those people. I’m sorry if I misread or didn’t get your point right I’m half awake rn

I take your point, you're right that it shouldn't stop anyone from making connections.

the issue for me is in maintaining that detachment and not getting too attached to someone who is simply “friends” with you just because of a common interest that you both have.

I'm not saying that this is the case for everyone, there are real friends but they are VERY RARE and I'm glad you have them in such a case

it was only a rant type memento mori to become centered on what actually matters, ourselves
