Do you reply to other people stories on Instagram?

I used to never do it but I think I was kinda autistic in this because lots of my friends actually replied to my stories and eventually it becomes like a whatsapp chat, and the more you engage the more you appears at the top of your friends' feed
I think it's a NT trait, not replying to someone's stories shows you don't have good social skills
