I feel most people have
We tend to not value our life until its at risk
But this reminds me of a video i saw where a father handed his son a Gun to kill himself and he actually did it which the father didnt expect
which is just sad
It shows some people completely see no value in their lives and will take the first chance they get to end it

I'd end it if I got my hands on barbital

I'm pretty sure it was a documented thing that 100% of people who survived suicide reported thinking "I don't want to do this" the second they jumped, shot, hung, etc. Everything that lives wants to survive, so naturally the last thing going through your mind would probably be regret or panic.

Yes this is a common occurence by people who tried to commit suicide by tying their hands and jumping in the water.

Not posting until I hit 4k rep for fun but yes nearly 100% of anyone who attempts any type of suicide method regrets it, it's part of why suicides fail 96% of the time. Research has shown that brain fog (the same stuff that makes you so horny you don't understand what you're doing) is also present during suicidal/depressive stages and lowers effective iq by around 30. Assuming the average human is somewhere between 90 - 110 iq, this means that on average, someone who is suicidal/depressive has the effective cognitive ability of someone who is moderately - severely mentally disabled, this stops them from reconsidering and frames suicide as the only option.

However the second they take action, this brain fog immediately clears and the real you comes out, it's kind of like a more lethal post nut clarity when you come back to your senses, a lot of jumpers specifically who usually have a few seconds before they hit the ground describe that "all of the solutions to their problems come except for what they had just done."

I think that most people succesful at killing themselves feel the heaviest regret in existence during their last couple of seconds alive, no life form wants to die and its the ultimate worst possible fate for anyone no matter how bad they had it previously, because they aren't balancing their previous life compared to the current event of going to die, the only thing taking place in their mind is extreme fear because of dying

I believe that people who suicide are optimistic, they think that their situation will be better after going through with the act, if they were pessimistic they'd think it would get worse

Even if they regretted it, it’s too late :lul: but I do suppose it could be painless since falling off a tall building could kill you instantly but what if it doesn’t and your just like half dead feeling every once of pain before you die :owo:

This is if you use relatively prolonged time to die methods like bleeding out or jumping, doesn't apply to near instant death like shooting yourself or decapitation

matter of fact decapitation mogs even though yes you would be scared as fuck the moments before the event just like with jumping, tie an alpinism grade rope to a tree and the other end to your neck, get into a car, accelerate and it will destroy your neck vascular system instantly, most definitely you will be fully decapitated too but you wont even feel it, you don't even have to go that fast since the danger comes from rapid deceleration over a short distance
