Had a job interview today for a local little grocery shop, in some little town outside of the main city I live, it’s not too far but it’s a good side job whilst at Uni, and it actually pays really well (I’ve had like 8 different jobs, at age 20, and this is the best paid by like £1.40 an hour, so it’s a W).
The interview went pretty well in terms of the questions, I was waffling a lot but I have hella experience so I could make shit up on the spot.
The woman interviewing me is about like 22-24 if I had to guess and I think she might fancy me if I’m being deadly honest, and to be fair she looks about the same age myself. She’s actually is really pretty too, like genuinely fit.
She would NOT remain eye contact for a second, and it definitely wasn’t because she was feeling uncomfortable, because she was smiling and making jokes, and the conversation was not awkward at all. I swear she would look at me for a split second at a time, and then immediately look away. She does seem pretty shy, well ish, especially after the interview ended lol, it was like we both didn’t know what to do for about like 10 seconds whilst I was exiting.
I was cracking a few jokes in the interview, which she was laughing at, one that comes to mind is when she said just as we covered anything “is there anything else left to do”, in which I responded “maybe sign the contract” and she was proper laughing.
She said I’ll here back about whether I’ve gotten then job by Monday, but she did specifically say if I receive a call from a random then I’ve gotten the job, and she made a joke about that it would be her and not some random weirdo lol.
She’s actually hot icl, I hope I get this job and potentially get a shot at the manager lol. We’ll have to see if I have the job first
