I think modern society puts lot of stuff into our minds and that can shape our behaviour to be more high inhib

Back then people werent exposed to so many stuff like we are today, they lived more in contact with nature

The modern human probably has more toughts crossing their minds and a bigger sense of self

Education system, commercials everywhere... theres lots of things for our minds to absorve while in nature everything is more simple

I would even go a step further and say that commercials can have subliminals that our subconscious absorves and those commercials are made on purpose to make people act a certain way
