Do you think the concept of a Nation is brainwashing?

So we have all been brought up to think nations and national pride is something very old but in reality it’s not at all

The concept of a nation only sorta started during the French Revolution when napoleon decided to unite French people to fight for their country

It only actually started to become important during the invent of technology when people could feel more connected

Before that not a long time ago at all people only thought of themselves as the village they were from

If someone asked you where u come from ur answer would be ur village, nobody had national pride
