Do you think the congress will force trump to stop the war in Iran?

There's a heavy pressure from the American public to stop the war. What do you nighas think if you don't know. In the US politics. To stop a war, Congress can pass bills to defund operations and enact binding resolutions requiring withdrawal but Trump can still vetoe it so Congress would be needing a two-thirds majority override. Do you think it's possible?

Public can pressure the Congress hard tbh but I've heard Israel has low key bought a lot of the politicians so getting a 2/3rd vote is very difficult

Even if Congress blocks it, there will still be factions that will keep fighting the war. The US itself doesn't exactly have a good track record on being loyal to power structures (it was literally born out of a rebellion).

I believe that Israel has bought a lot of the politicians in the House rejected a War Powers Resolution with a very narrow vote despite this entire conflict being this unpopular even among his ultra loyal maga base

You know it's a real blunder when even his giga cocksuckers disapprove of his actions, because those people will side with him on nearly everything no matter how irrational it is.

Don't forget that Isreal is threatening legal action agaisnt its citizens who film iranian drone and missle impacts. There are reports that Tel Aviv is getting hit AT WILL by balistic missles. Apparently 50 hit last night

This wouldnโ€™t be possible imo as even though there is some pressure from the American public, Iranians seem to be fully in support of Trump topping their former regime so they might see it as a way to have Iran as a beneficial ally in the future

Let the killing continue so we can make $$$ from the military industrial complex,

Raytheon(RTX) and Lockheed Martin(LMT) HAVE to resupply and restock the interceptor missles (SM-2/SM-6/Tomahawks), this is a good chance to miss out on huge money and stock gains from new contracts once this ends

Congress are subservient kuttas theyโ€™ve let the president run completely amuck.

By the time they declare the war on Iran as illegal would be at least 6 months from now

Not if they get bought out by certain lobby before
Maybe they are threatening Trump just to pressure that lobby to pay them out

there was a recent cbs poll that asked people if they supported the war depending on how long it will last. iirc 80% supported it if the duration can be measured in days and 60% if it can be measured in weeks. for months and years the majority opposed it. so i dont think americans are opposed to the intervention per se, they are just afraid it will turn into another forever adventure like iraq or afghanistan
