a sort of United States of Europe?

It makes sense now since with trump threatening to leave NATO the only way to make European military self reliant and bump it to the 3rd most powerful would be by uniting nations militaries

EU is already sort of like a country where every EU citizen can freely roam, live, study, work in any EU member country without having to go through any hassle

The currency is also the same in most countries

I wonder if In the future we might see the EU become a country

European Union is the only of its kind in the globe the most similar thing to it was back when the American colonies of the west coast had a similar system back in the 1700s

Besides that there’s nothing else to compare it to as it stands

Will never happen. It's a pipedream. White countries hate themselves and will continue to hate each other. They may unified against the immigrants but they hate each other.

The reason the EU started in the first place was to stop Europe from having wars

The idea was to make it so interconnected it wouldn’t be possible to have wars and it worked for all these years

No nigga. It was so EU countries could come to the table as a single entity while negotiating other countries . Many EU countries are very small and landlocked. Any form of free trade would be very difficult which is why EU was formed so even countries like Hungary can have access to huge markets in the UK and Germany. It was mainly a trade agreement.
