Not sure if there are studies about this, but do you think it influences your personality, strengths, and somewhat looks? I think it does

Kids in the grade below me always try making fun of my name by saying it and acting likes it’s the funniest shit ever and they don’t even feel embarrassed doing it while doing assisted pull ups at a normal body weight, niggas weak as fuck yet they still find hate :feelswah:

I think it's called the Dorian Gray effect

Studies suggest that people "look like" their name, though these are inconclusive

People were given random photos of locals and asked to point out the "Emily" or "Christopher" and were able to do it at a higher rate than expected.

Yeah it's interesting but it's not perfect

Look it up
iirc it was something like this

You gotta use a place where local names are unique and reused across generations
So China and Korea don't work

I think they used France and Israel
Where every fucker is named Etienne/Brigette or Yaakov/Rachel... Basically names are common and reused

Person is given 5 photos to pick out the person with a particular name

So on average if you just randomly picked without thinking, you'd get 20% right

People on average scored close to 40%
