after 2 rest days i feel shit and really skinny
i have had multiple times when i havent worked out for 2 days then i just skip rest day cause i feel skinny

depends, how many workouts in the week, how hard was the last workout, how sore were you. 3 days is too much though, unless youre injured

I would avoid training if my muscles feel sore, but slight soreness is okay. Soreness comes from inflammation and the healing process.

Rest and recovery is just as important as bodybuilding / training.
