Doctor said my acne is because of hormonal changes.

What can this mean?
The reason I got checked was because I have had acne since I was 12 (I'm 19 now) and I sudennly got a huge increase in acne.
They said it had to do with hormone levels and came to the conclusion it had to do with something about my testosterone and estrogen.
He said it might be my testosterone levels spiking?

I doubt it has anything to do with estrogen tbh,
I deleted it but I previously mentioned that I also got increased facial and body hair from nowhere.
Also I got acne on my back but I started medication so its almost gone now.

It must be the NoFap (jk)
