yeah, i had a bunch of resume personal projects meanwhile ur avg cstard has his shitty programming 1 project on his resume and usually has a dogshit resume in general

a job listing lists the ideal candidate
nobody is going to have everything on the list
ur looking for an internship, just show muh passion with projects and how eager u are to gain real world experience with muh problem solving skills

i had 4 projects
1 was a script that made my life easier in x aspect of my life
2 CRUD apps for some other problems I wanted to solve relevant to my life - demonstrated my knowledge of different disciplines in the field
and then another was actually a school project to my surprise but I put it on there cuz I carried tf out of my group and it was an easy talking point for collaboration / team work

so as u can see, the projects should be relevant to problems in ur life otherwise you'll give up half way

also be sure u can defend anything u put on ur resume otherwise u may end up looking like a clown

but the best thing would be creating a micro SaaS with a few customers to show u mean business

also, i got all my jobs through my college - highly recommend applying to those postings
