Does anybody know about beta-blockers?

I have pretty bad anxiety, so am going to get my blood tested and heart checked aswelll as my thyroid before being given beta-blockers. Following the Doctors orders to check that I am ok before proceeding to give me the drug.


More specifically, I will take the beta-blocker Propranolol, does anybody know about it. Is it good? Side effects? Looks-min?

you will still be high inhib if you are naturally high inhib, the only thing it helps with is physical signs of anxiety (heart rate, sweating etc)

Yeah, my heart rate can surge exceptionally high (it feels like that) accompanied with a tight-chestedness even at home.

It'll kill the physical symptoms, your mind should be calmer if your body is as well.

It doesn't help intrusive thoughts much if those are your issue.

No serious drawbacks for most but I know it can worsen asthma or any other respiratory issues
