It has always struck me as strange how oblivious most people are to the concept of genetic determinism- it is entirely rational to me.

My older sister ruined my heightmaxxing plans right after I put them into action, years ago. I'd put some peptides/syringes I had to store in the fridge (I didn't have my own fridge, sadly)...

And of course, my older sister, the nosy person she is she wanted to know why I'd kept a locked box in the fridge. Started shouting and shit telling my mom I'd kept something 'bad' hidden in the fridge.

I'd pulled it out of the fridge (since she likely would've opened it by force), and kept the syringes in my room. Shortly after (still nosy), she went into my room, found them, told my mom, and I got a lecture for like 3hs. Mom told me she'd start monitoring my online transactions, etc., etc. (I wasn't 18 yet).

So, being under stringent supervision like that I had to quit the heightmaxxing protocols I'd conjured up. I still grew, luckily, I think I was about 16 at the time, though.

But it just showcases the risks you run by having your family members (especially siblings) get to know what you're doing here. They won't hesitate to use it as leverage against you.

My mom even started crying, during the lecture. It was a huge pain.

Thing is, they probably threw out a couple hundred worth of peptides I'd had. I wasn't earning much at the time, so it'd be at least a couple of months before I could try again, but it was all a big hassle. Since I'd need to keep it refrigerated but with such a nosy sister it'd be impossible to keep it in the fridge downstairs without her eventually finding it (and trying to open it).

So I would've had to purchase a mini-fridge of some kind, but that's another expense, so add a month of savings on top of that. I was just a bit demotivated after all that.

I'd still had an AI that they didn't find (I'd stored it elsewhere, didn't need to be in the fridge), which I kept using months after, so maybe that had me grow for a little longer.

Another time shortly after, they flushed 1kg worth of potassium chloride powder I'd stored in my room down the toilet, that I was using for debloating. They thought it was 'drugs' or some shit (it clearly states potassium chloride on the package & the manufacturer).

Thank God she moved out, so that's one less worry I have now. I can't wait to move out myself so I won't need to be looking behind my back all the time.
