The only reason man fears death is because of the unknown nature of death

but you'd know before you die how you lived, do you not fear dying a death worthless? Struggling throughout life only to realize that all the stuff you truly thought mattered meant nothing in the end?

Do you fear it?
I wouldn’t say I fear death but if I happen to die tonight I wouldn’t even know that I’m dead. However I wouldn’t want to put myself in a position to die obviously because I would miss out on experiences and my family would be devastated

I simply fear not death itself but a meaningless one, the unpredictability of death strikes more fear in me then any living thing on earth. As every book has an end so does everybody's life. But how many of the elderly can truly say they've lived a life prosperous enough where they were happy and fulfilled all deeds?

Most elderly would say they haven’t lived a fully fulfilling life and they come to a point in their lives where they don’t need to cope anymore and simply accept it

we were taught dying is bad and unnatural

I guess it's something that has to be accepted once you've reached a certain point.
Or
Maybe it's just something I have to fulfill now coming to a conclusion so early in life. Good conversation mate. This is what off-topic should be.

No one said that bro. Where did you learn that JFL, how would dying be unnatural when it’s the most natural thing ever

How can something be bad and unnatural if everything born must come to an end? Every start has a finish.

i will die as a failure anyway, hence it doesn't really matter

You've come to this conclusion so easily? Throwing in the towel? Or accept that and use your failures as fuel to win. Throw in the towel and 30 years you ask the same question and you'll have lived a life full of regret.

Do you believe in the existence of God. Me personally I still believe there is another being much higher than us, but the typical God that “answers people’s prayers” is most likely a coping mechanism. If you ask a religious person why did God create us they would say so we worship him and that this life is a test. But if you go deeper, why would an all powerful mighty being want a lower being to worship them their whole lives. And if they don’t they go to hell for eternity

cause every fucking story they tell death is the worst possible outcome and something to always be avoided im not saying death is unnatural you fucking fucking fucks

It's not death itself it's the unpredictability, not knowing, etc. Plus living a meaningless death would kill my soul even more, long after I'm gone.

That's where it lies tbf, most people say it's a coping mechanism that was needed to bring people together, the more you research into the deeping hole the farther you realize that you won't know the answer. It is said that God has a plan for us all, yet as he is omniscient and all-knowing we don't know it. And there lies the problem because omniscience isn't something the humans can grasp, therefore we don't even know what the fuck we're even gonna end up, not tommorow, nor the day after, nor a decade after.

As of right now I firmly believe rhere is something out there. Just won't have the answers for it, not in this life, nor the next.
