Glad someone's actually taking action but probably the wrong site to ask, I know TRP forums had info on that but I'm not sure if they still exist on reddit

There are 2 ways to become a Colombian Citizen. If you have a Colombian parent(s) or you were born in Colombia, you are eligible for Colombian Citizenship. If you've held a Resident Visa for a certain amount of time, you may be eligible to apply for Citizenship.

You can't use any of your coke money if you don't invest it, and having citizenship makes it 10 times easier

my dad is born in colombia, that makes me eligible for citizenship
You have good conduct, know the language and have birth registration too? If yes you can already register for being a colombian, just follow the correct steps, you have the full information on this website:

Good conduct= never commited a crime
And you need to speak spanish at least 1b or else they wont give you the birth certificate
And btw why do you want to be colombian?

according to their laws i should be able to get citizenship instantly if one of my parents are colombian, and i want it for the dual citizenship so i have a EU passport and citizenship so i can move and live in any country in the EU and i want to open a Hotel in Colombia and its cheaper, easier, and better if ur a citizen

''2 months to as long as a year to complete.''

I aint a professional in colombian law but u can easily get citizenship but u have to prove your colombian parents lineage, like their colombian birth certificate n passport and u will have to register your birth in a colombian embassy to prove that u exist

U can even do this witth deceased parents e.g i am eligible for itallian citizenship

Website actually has decent info ''colombianvisaservices''

my mum is from there but I just got a cedular extranjero rather than getting citizenship. passport is pretty useless and they have really opaque and shitty tax laws that I still have to fuck around with just cos I own couple of apartments.

i reccomend u go that route

i plan on getting one too

Contact the consulate in your country
LATAM passports are underrated especially for mercosur access
