Does being bullied when you were young affect if you're NT or not?

It did for me. I was so afraid and ashamed of my being bullied by others that the thought of playing with others or even just making friends was completely out of my mind.

I was so afraid of bullies (both physical and verbal) that I stayed in the library during lunch time for most of my school life
