Does bimax actually lengthen the philtrum?

Are you downgrafting? You could expect the most difference in that i think, other than that obviously depends on your maxilla advancement.
But it all comes down to how stubborn your soft tissues is

Not really, it’s soft tissues, you could change the apparent length by changing the nasolabial angle I guess. You’re kinda stuck with what you have or you can shorten it with lip lift. I don’t think there’s anything to lengthen it.

i think upper lip reduction may work in my case but that seems to be a rare procedure

Less compacts but his midface look better
