Does castor oil only grow hair that is already there or does it also cause new hair growth?

If it doesn't cause new hair growth, can that only be achieved by minoxodil or is there anything else such as rosemary/peppermint oil?

Castor oil doesn't cause new hair growth, it provides nutrients to make your hair grow healthier longer and thicker

No I'm pretty sure they're the same and you'll need something that actually promotes new hair growth like minoxidil but I dont have any personal experience with it I've only used castor oil and it's done wonders tbh

Is there anything else apart from minoxidil that promotes new hair growth?

My eyebrows are already thick, they're just not as long as ideal so I just need to make them longer like as in go past my outer eyes so would castor oil be fine for that?

Not sure but castor oil gave me a lot of stray hairs so maybe but you should pair with minoxidil if thats your goal

For brows, get topical minoxidil.
It does go systemic (which is the primary concern since minoxidil affects your blood pressure) but not anywhere near the concentration of oral minoxidil in your blood; it is safe to use.

Any results from Castor oil are more-than-likely placebo.

Just use topical (although its annoying and I dont like the alcohol concentration on my face I think it causes puffiness). Or use low dose 2.5mg a day oral minox. I have long thick eyebrows and it filled in the ends tht where slightly sparser (only prob is u gotta trim ur brows more now) and it also thickened my head hair.
