Does Castor Oil Work For Beard

So I have been using castor oil for my eyelashes and my eyebrows for almost maybe 3 weeks now and holy shit it it has worked especially on my eyelashes.. I struggle growing a beard so do yall think it might increase the growth of my facial hair?
