You need to see a TMJ specialist and get CBCT scans of ur jaw joints. People can be painless and have detoriorating joints all the same. In some rare cases, it can lead to assymetry and osteoarthritis if its severe and left unchecked. This shortens ramus since the jaw bone grinds against the TMJ bones
