I've heard that it can pull your teeth forward or could pull bottom teeth back and recess you, I've had mine in for about a month and have already noticed my top teeth being over my front teeth. My underbite was never really noticeable but my ortho insisted on me wearing the rubber bands after talking to him about if it could recess you.
