Does creatine actually do anything?

If I eat a healthy diet with lots of meat eggs and dairy will a creatine supplement actually do anything?

im not sure. its not something that you can really feel a noticeable difference, at least for me. but may as well take it.

there’s already phosphocreatine in meats and the creatine phosphokinase enzyme in your body breaks it down into creatine which saturates any water you consume in your muscles

there’s like 0.1g of phosphocreatine in like 1 kilo of meat so you’re better off buying some creatine monohydrate since it’s the most researched but someone on here said creatine HCl minimises water bloat and also is better idk do your research

Yes obviously. Go look at the biochemistry of it and you'll see why it works, and will probably be able to placebo yourself into thinking it works even better than that too lol

DHT only elevates when large amounts of creatine are used, loading phases aren’t recommended

idk why biochemistry behind supplements is so interesting lol i procrastinate my actual bio and chem revision just to read up on that shit

I would imagine it only works if you get it from raw meat since that's usually the case with all food stuff
 
yeah it fills up your muscles which makes them look bigger
 
since it draws water into your body doesn't that mean that it will face bloat you in a bad way ? Or maybe i heard it only draws water into muscle and since masseters are muscle it can make it bigger right ?

Yes it bloats face in bad way, I have big masseters from chewing for hours and it just makes you look chipmunk.

It does make your muscles feel pumped a lot more like my chest feels like superman, also makes you lift bit more.

But it’s not worth the face bloat.
