it's mostly an illusion caused by brown eyes, you can't distinguish where his pupil is.
so instead of this.
you're seeing this in your head.
because when you can't tell where the pupil is, you just assume the entire iris is the pupil.
hamsters have 'beady eyes' for the same reason.
in reality they just have huge irisses with no sclera show.
same goes for dogs.
it won't be as bad irl when you have lighter brown eyes, although t50's are still fucked, but it's especially bad on pictures.
similarly, people that have light eyes have the opposite and it can make their eyes look too wide set.
