I don't find really clear sources of this ?
Someone know about that ?
Also for intermittent fasting ?

I'm a fan of extended fasts occassionally for weight loss purposes, but it does appear that it has a negative effect on collagen formation.

Not a huge problem if you don't do it consistently though. I do a fast that is more than 48 hours just a couple times a year.

Extended fasts have other benefits though - your short term BMR can go up by ~13%, your testosterone levels will rise, your HGH levels will rise astronomically.

Fasting also increases autophagy - your body will consume dead and nonfunctional cells, including from your face, resulting in a firmer face with less redness and sagginess.

spiking insulin also has a negative impact on collagen production. So id rather fast even if it still inhibits collagen production, because damned if u do, damned if u dont, but fasting has other health benefits.

I do intermittent fasting since a year (no breakfast)

Yep, the only way to avoid insulin spikes is to constantly eat low carb or paleo, but that's not sustainable for most people.

You will likely get carb cravings and be forced to refeed like bodybuilders, because restricting carbs to less than 20g a day gets mentally taxing after a few weeks or months. Even The Rock has to have massive refeed days with tons of pizza and chocolate and that guy has the willpower of titans. Not even he can tolerate chicken and rice for years

It's also very hard to work out at the gym on low carb or paleo, your lifting strength will be a lot lower.

Hell, I'll just take the occassional long fast, and do OMAD the rest of the time (or if feeling lazy, a 16-8).

So this mf is lying ???

He says that the main factor of reducing aging is to eat as less as possible

Nah, it seems legit. Tom Cruise consistently eats a 1200kcal clean diet and he has always been extremely youthful. Low calorie diets also extend lifespan in most animals. Different from fasting.

Most uninformed people would tell you a man would die on 1200kcal daily. He not only manages to live on it just fine but he has always had a great moderately muscular body while doing it. Whenever his body fat gets too low he just eats whatever he wants for a while then continues at 1200kcal.

As long as your protein intake is high, you can get away with very low daily calories without muscle loss.

I have poor results at the gym
Do u think it's bc of the intermittent fasting ?
Should I bulk for a year to gain muscle mass, and come back for fasting when I like my body ?

This. Autophagy is good for skin and collegen. Eats up dead cells. Look up people who fasted for like 7 days and how they look like after the refeed. Skin is always glowing intensely.

I wouldn't do it consistently like said, but combining the long fast with a low carb veggie diet and ferments is extreme for skin quality.
